Our wide reef plateaus are perfect for snorkelling enthusiasts
Right now we dive at around 40 sites but we have no idea how many more we could discover! Luckily, most of the dive sites around Morotai Island are also suitable for snorkelers.
House Reef
Right on our doorstep a 90m reef plateau offers excellent snorkelling. The corals are particularly beautiful at the drop-off, where the reef slowly descends into the depths, and we regularly get visits from big fish like bumphead parrotfish, tuna and even blacktip reef sharks.
Night Snorkeling
Our house reef is also fantastic for an evening visit. After dusk nocturnal animals come out of their hiding places and offer a completely different snorkelling experience than during the day. One of our guides will accompany you in case you have any uncertainty about snorkelling in the dark.
Guided Snorkeling
Generally, we offer all snorkelling trips with an optional guide. This is especially beneficial for beginners who might need a little more safety and security. Our guides are trained to spot marine life, maximising the snorkelling experience. For experienced snorkelers, a guide can teach you about local species and point out interesting landmarks or cultural features.
