Let’s mark 8 February 2021 in red in our calendars! Finally, after two years of Indonesian bureaucracy and the last months of surveying and mapping, the time had come: the construction company arrived! The first cut of the spade is done! To make the spirits happy, we all held a small prayer ceremony together.

Now we look forward, delighted with each stone that is placed on top of the other and each building that will slowly take shape. What excitement!
